VLCA Compliance Grades
The Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association’s (MGMA) Voluntary Labour Compliance Assessment (VLCA) categorizes compliance levels into four grades: Higher Compliance, Full Compliance, Partial Compliance, and Non-Compliance. Each grade is subdivided into two components, resulting in a total of eight components, each visually represented by a distinct color.
Compliance grades, their corresponding subcomponents, and their respective colors are as follows:
- Higher Compliance
- exemplary - Purple @ Hex #800080
- higher - Indigo @ Hex #55308D
- Full Compliance
- full - Green @ Hex #00A933
- adequate - Lime @ Hex #81D41A
- Partial Compliance
- partial - Yellow @ Hex #FFFF00
- critical - Orange @ Hex #FF8000
- Non Compliance
- urgent - Red @ Hex #FF0000
- blacklist - Black @ Hex #000000

When the auditor is not fully satisfied to categorize compliance level at a certain grade, Partial Compliance for instance, setting the color can also be between the two grades of Non and Partial compliance as follow.
